HABIBA, THE CASITA In the spring of 2015 the old tack room for the horses was renovated and remodelled for use as a retreat and a studio the rest of the year. It now has a cubic Moroccan feel with flat roof terrace which has the best views on the finca, amazing for bird watching. Inside there is a spacious studio apartment with double bed, comfortable chairs and a desk, the bathroom and dressing room are en suite. There is a pellet stove for chilly months. Glass doors lead to the covered porch where there is a well equipped kitchen and dining area with views of the sierra and surrounding countryside. There is no internet but a good phone signal.

Natuur en omgeving

The casita is secluded, private and surrounded by nature, woodland and the peaks of the sierra. Bird life is undisturbed and prolific, in the spring nightingales sing from April - May. The casita has access to the pool of the finca, open from May - October. It has its own private entrance and is completely secluded from the rest of the finca. There is a footpath for walking into the sierra and on to Montanchez, a village with a Moorish castle, several cafés and bars.
